SDP Overview 2023-24
Raising Standards:
- Raise standards in reading through developing and embedding consistent and effective approaches to the teaching of reading across the school. To improve standards of Welsh working towards Cymraeg Campus Silver.
- To raise standards in mathematical procedural and reasoning skills and to use assessment data effectively to inform planning.
- To evaluate and raise standards in Science and Technology across the curriculum.
Wellbeing and Attitudes to Learning:
- To further embed the ALN Act across the school ensuring provision and processes are aligned. To continue to raise rates of attendance and achieve the whole school target of 93%
Curriculum Reform:
- To refine and evaluate the School Curriculum in line with the Four Purposes through the refinement of Assessment and Progression procedures to provide high-quality learning across the school.
Teaching and Learning:
- Develop a school teaching and learning framework encompassing the principle of daily excellence and the pedagogy developed through OTP and OTA
