Cashless Catering System – UPDATE
We are having our online school dinner system set up and ready to be used when we return after half term. We will be live on Monday 6th June. Letters have been sent home explaining the new system and giving you information on how to set up your child’s account.
Please read the letter and guidance notes carefully on how to register your child on UPAY.COM
Any credit or debt on accounts after Fri 27th May will be uploaded onto the new system on Monday 6th June.
Please ensure you have enough credit on your account to order school dinners when we return on Mon 6th June. Any account that is in debt, will need to have sandwiches provided as school dinners will not be authorised.
Safe Parking
We have received a number of complaints with reference to parents parking on the pavement opposite the school gate. Children have been unable to walk on the pavement to get to the crossing, and subsequently have to walk on the road.
In the interest of safety to all of our children, please consider where you are parking. Many children walk to school on their own, and therefore need access to the crossing area and attendant. Many thanks for your continued support.
Blood Donations
Blood stocks are lower than the Welsh Blood Service would like them to be.
Don’t know your type? No problem, they’ll do that bit for you when you donate.
The actual act of donating blood only takes 5-10 minutes to do, but for someone in need, that blood could last a lifetime. Take a minute to see when we are next in your area and book to #giveblood

Online Safety
It has come to our attention that our children, especially in our younger classes, are talking about a character called ‘Huggy Wuggy’.
Huggy Wuggy is an animated character from a horror game. He appears in a range of YouTube videos and due to his friendly name, the videos are slipping through parental filters.
The character talks a lot about violent and inappropriate content and once these videos are seen, they cannot be unseen. Please be vigilant and always supervise your children when they are accessing YouTube or any other online content.
Big Talk (Please discuss with your children):
This week’s topic is … What are we celebrating for the Jubilee and why?
