Year 6 Easter Raffle

A very kind group of our Year 6 parents have gathered to organise a prom for the Year 6 children. They will be selling raffle tickets at the end of school today and next week. Please support them by buying tickets. Some of the prizes are shown below

Lateness

The total number of minutes pupils arrived late to school last week was 42 mins. This is a huge improvement- well done!

Please ensure your child comes to school on time every day. Every moment a child is late = missed learning.

Children that are on time start the day settled, relaxed and ready to learn.

Children that arrive late are often stressed and embarrassed and take a while to settle into their day. Late arrivals cause disruption within the class which has an affect on everyone.

If you need any support, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Loose Money

There are a significant number of school trips for most classes at the moment. All money brought to school must be in a labelled envelope. This is to ensure all money you give us is accounted for and assigned to the right child/trip. We really appriciate your understanding of this requirement. We cannot accept loose money.

Easter Disco

The Easter disco will be held on Tuesday, 8th April.

Nursery – Year 2 – 3:30pm-4:30pm. Years 3-6 – 4:45-6pm £2 entry. Please see the poster on page 8 and Dojo for more information

Attendance Matters
The United Nation Article 28 states ‘every child has the right to have a primary education’. We are linking our attendance performance to this article.
We want our children to have the best possible education to give them the best chance in life. If your children aren’t in school we can’t give them this opportunity and can’t give them the opportunity to ‘be the best they can be.’
