Please see information below regarding what will happen should we have a positive case of Covid-19 within the school. We currently do not have a case but I want us all to be prepared in the eventuality of a positive case.
What happens if a child/staff member tests positive for COVID-19?
• The identity of the child/staff member will remain confidential
• All parents/carers will receive a message through Class Dojo saying a case has been identified in the school.
• All pupils who need to self-isolate as a result will be informed. This message could come at any time during the day or evening.
• Public Health advice states that other members of your household do not need to self-isolate.
• You should be particularly vigilant about your child’s health and if they display any coronavirus symptoms, you should ensure that they are tested as soon as possible.
• You may receive a separate notification from the test, trace and protect team.
• You will receive information about home learning and how work can be
completed through Class Dojo.
