School Dinners
It has been brought to our attention that some of our children are bringing in a packed lunch/ extra snacks when they have ordered a school dinner.

The children should either be having a packed lunch OR a  school dinner, there isn’t an option to have both. Please discuss the menu with your child each week and ask them to choose dinner or packed lunch.

A reminder also that we are changing the way children order their school dinners. Every Tuesday, we will post a link on Dojo for you to order your child’s school dinners for the following week.

Your child does not need to have a school dinner every day.

You will need to order your child’s dinner for the following week by the Friday morning. Children are no longer being asked in class about dinners. Please make sure you have ordered your child’s dinner online so they are not left without a lunch at dinner time.

Please click here for next week’s form (Week beginning 6th May). Next week, we are on Week 3 menu.

Request from Mrs Wilson!
Mrs Wilson is on the scrounge again! I believe if you don’t ask….

Do you have board games or turn taking games for young children? Guess who – the old style where you flip the characters down. Particularly looking for younger games. Wooden puzzles. Dominoes or card games?

Do you have any stickers, craft paper, transfers or crafting items?

Do you have classic Ladybird stories like The three little pigs, Red riding hood, Rumpelstiltskin, The magic porridge pot etc?

Should you wish to donate them to our Nurture group, I would be grateful. Please no Scrabble or Monopoly. Mrs Gemmell and myself would lose!

Huge thanks as always.

Attendance Matters

The United Nation Article 28 states ‘every child has the right to have a primary education’. We are linking our attendance performance to this article.
We want our children to have the best possible education to give them the best chance in life. If your children aren’t in school we can’t give them this opportunity and can’t give them the opportunity to ‘be the best they can be.’

Infinite Craft
We have been made aware by another school that there is a new game Primary School aged children are playing called ‘Infinite Craft’.

It appears innocent to start but soon becomes adult in its content. As always, please be vigilant in what games your children are playing and what content they are accessing online.
