Covid-19
It has been a pleasure seeing all of our children back in school this week following half term and periods of isolation. We want
to keep our children and staff safe and learning in school. We are doing all we can to ensure our strict risk assessment and
safety measures are being followed but we need your support to keep the school covid free. Please do not send your child to
school if they, or anyone in your household, is showing symptoms of Covid-19; no matter how mild. If a member of your house is
symptomatic, the whole household needs to isolate and the person displaying symptoms needs to be tested. The whole
household needs to isolate until the test result has been received. Please see the flowchart at this link for further detail:

You are putting our pupils and staff at direct risk if you ignore this guidance.

Please also help us by adhering to the 2 metre social distancing guidance when dropping off and collecting the children. Please
stand on the yellow spots on the pavements and the blue hearts on the yard to ensure you are 2 metres away from anyone else.

Children in Need
We would like to celebrate Children in Need on Friday, 13th November by allowing the children to choose their own fancy dress.
They may have a favourite outfit or they may want to stick to some traditional spots or stripes. It is entirely up to them.
Please bring in a small donation. (Remember this must be in an envelope).

Online Safety
This week, BBC’s Panorama programme focussed on the TikTok social media app and explored how safe it is (or isn’t in this
case). The link is below (it can be accessed through BBC iPlayer) I highly recommend parents and carers of children who use
TikTok watch it. I can’t stress enough how damaging TikTok (along with other social media apps) can be for children of any age
and how its highly inappropriate content exposes the children to harm.

Remembrance Sunday
This year, due to covid restrictions, we are unable to have the Remembrance service usually held at our memorial garden in the
school grounds. A pre-recorded service conducted by Pastor Stephen Darby of Hope Church will be available to follow from the
comfort of your own homes on Sunday. Details will be shared ahead of the service. Our memorial garden will be open between
10am and 4pm on Sunday for anyone wishing to pay their respects or to lay a wreath.
