This half term’s value is:
ASPIRATION
We are looking for people from a variety of jobs and careers to speak to our children about their work. If you would be interested in speaking to our children virtually, please contact the school
Heroes of the Week
This week’s heroes are:
Dosbarth Coch: Jousen and Olivia
Dosbarth Oren: Brooke and Ashton
Dosbarth Melyn: Harper and Joshua
Dosbarth Gwyrdd: Joshua and Layla
Dosbarth Glas: Riley and Seth
Dosbarth Porffor: Scarlett and Harvey
Dosbarth Enfys: Ioan and Isabel
We’d also like to say a huge well done to those children receiving a Headteacher certificate and a Mathletics award. Well done to all of our certificate winners, we are very proud of you all
Key Stage 2 Entrance Times
We have decided to adjust our Key Stage 2 entrance times to 5 minutes earlier to ease congestion on the pavement.
From Monday, 14th June Key Stage 2 classes should arrive at the following times:
Dosbarth Enfys (Y6 – Mrs Jones) – 8:55am
Dosbarth Porffor (Y5 – Mr Phillips and Mrs O’Connor – 9:00am
Dosbarth Glas (Y4 – Mrs Xiberras) – 09:05am
Dosbarth Gwyrdd (Y3 – Mrs Lloyd) – 09:10am
Exit times will remain the same. Please ensure the children are arriving on time and not early. When pupils are arriving early, it is causing unnecessary congestion on the pavement and risks mixing of bubbles
Sports Day
We are currently in the process of preparing for sports day with each class bubble. Although we are aware restrictions have eased for outdoor gatherings, we have chosen not to have parents present at sports days this year. We appreciate this may be disappointing but following discussion, we felt we would be putting our children and school community at risk to have gatherings of parents present
Mathletics Competition
Mrs Packham has been hosting a Mathletics competition for the classes over the last few weeks to see which class could work collaboratively to earn the most Mathletics certificates. A big well done to Dosbarth Gwyrdd for being the winning class! They will be rewarded with an ice cream and fun afternoon!
