Allotment Development
We need your help!
We are very keen to develop an allotment area in the school field. This will need to be fenced off to ensure safety when children play and undertake sports on the field. We would like to use recycled materials to build the fence so we are currently collecting pallets. The pallets will need to be in good condition to ensure children’s health and safety. If you are able to help, please contact Mrs O’Connor at the school.
Thankyou in advance
Remembrance Sunday
The school memorial garden will be open on Sunday, 14th November between 10am – 4pm for anyone who wishes to lay a wreath.
There will be a community service held there between 10:30 and 11:30am. Please see the link below to the covid safety protocols that will be in place during the service.

Children in Need/ Anti-Bullying Day
Friday 19th November is Children in Need day, so children don’t need to wear uniform. Instead, they’re invited to dress up in their favourite clothes or wear Pudsey clothes!
It would be great if they could add a pair of odd socks to their outfit, as we’ll be celebrating anti-bullying day on the same day, celebrating the fact that we’re all different. If you can, please send a £1 donation to support Children in Need.
We’re looking forward to a great Pudsey and odd sock day!
Parking
We have had further communication from our school neighbours that their drives are being blocked again on Cheriton Avenue & Penmaen Close during drop off and collection times. This is unacceptable.
One of our school values is respect. We work hard to instil this in our children and would hope to see respect shown from our parents and carers to others in our school community. Parking in front of someone’s drive and blocking them from leaving the house is disrespectful and unnecessary.
Please be mindful of where you park when dropping off and collecting the children ensuring you are not blocking any of our school neighbours’ access to their drives, particularly on Cheriton Avenue & Penmaen Close.
Whilst you may feel you are only going to be there for a brief period of time, this is affecting our neighbours’ ability to leave for work on time or access their drive on their own property.
If this continues, our neighbours will have no choice but to involve the Police who will be forced to issue parking notices. Please share this with any other family members who may be dropping off or collecting the children.
Online Safety
SnapChat is another popular social media communication platform that many teenagers and young children use. SnapChat should only be used by children aged 13 and above and not by any primary aged children.
The link below is to an updated guide for parents on the risks associated with SnapChat:
