Allotment Development
We need your help!
We are very keen to develop an allotment area in the school field. This will need to be fenced off to ensure safety when children play and undertake sports on the field. We would like to use recycled materials to build the fence so we are currently collecting pallets. The pallets will need to be in good condition to ensure children’s health and safety. If you are able to help, please contact Mrs O’Connor at the school.
Thankyou in advance
Christmas Dinner
Christmas is fast approaching and we need to get numbers of pupils who would like to order a Christmas dinner. If your child would like a Christmas dinner on Wednesday 8th December, please can you fill out the form at the link below ASAP, no later than Wednesday 17th November.

Christmas dinners need to be pre-booked to ensure the school kitchen has ordered enough turkeys. They cannot be ordered on the day. Many thanks
Welsh Blood Service
The Welsh Blood Service are in urgent need of donations. There are plenty of appointments available in November and December at their clinics in Bryn Meadows, Newbridge Leisure Centre and Trecenydd Community Centre.
They are also looking for NEW donors to join their donation panel. Only 3% of the UK population donate. Can you make a difference?
If you are fit and well, over 17 and under 66, book your appointment here https://wbs.wales/CaerBoroughCounc
Just one donation could save three lives.
Please note – You must wait seven days after having your Covid-19 vaccination before giving blood
Learn to sing the Welsh national anthem!
As promised, we will be running a session for adults who would like to learn how to say the words (and maybe even have a go at singing) the Welsh national Anthem! The event will be held in the school hall next Tuesday, the 9th of November at 3.25pm for about half an hour. Numbers for this event will be restricted so to gain a space, please leave your name in the comment section on the post on Dojo, and we will contact you to confirm your place. You can bring your children with you but they must not mix with children from other classes. We look forward to seeing you there
