End of Half Term
Hiya everyone, today is the last day of the 1st half of the Spring term and it has certainly flown by so quickly again!
Our children have progressed well this half term in so many ways, we are so proud of each and every one of them!
Thank you all for your continued support of our school.
We hope you all have a lovely half term and we look forward to welcoming the children back to school on Monday, 27th February.
Take care, Mrs Wangiel
Eisteddfod Home-School Craft
Our school Eisteddfod is on the 1st of March which is the first Wednesday back after half term. As usual there will be a ‘Home / school craft’ competition for all the classes. We would like you to assist the children to create a ‘Wooden spoon, Welsh celebrity’. The children can be as imaginative as they like and all we ask is that you help them collect some resources and possibly help with cutting or sticking if needed. The entries must be with us by the 1st Monday back after half term (27th Feb) or we will not be able to include them in the judging.
Please label your child’s entry with the name of the famous Welsh person they have created and also your child’s name.
Pob lwc!

Well done to all of our certificate winners, we are very proud of you all!
Attendance Matters
The United Nation Article 28 states ‘every child has the right to have a primary education’. We are linking our attendance performance to this article.
We want our children to have the best possible education to give them the best chance in life. If your children aren’t in school we can’t give them this opportunity and can’t give them the opportunity to ‘be the best they can be.’

Online Safety
Worringly, some of our older children have been telling us that they are allowed to play Grand
Theft Auto. This is a game with an age rating of 18 due to its inappropriate content.
