Easy Fundraising

Do you shop for takeaways online using Just Eat? Do you buy clothes online?
Do you use Amazon? Do you buy insurance online? Do you shop online for anything?
If the answer is yes to any of those you could help us raise funds without costing you a penny!
Derwendeg Primary School PTA is registered with @easyuk, so over 7,000 brands will now donate to us for FREE every time you use @easyuk to shop with them.
Click here to access the link, register then search for the retailer you want to use to shop. Buy your items and we get paid by the retailer!
All you need to do is to remember to visit Easyfundraising everytime before you shop.
We do not know where you shop or what you bought or how much you spent – they just give us free money!

Reporting Injuries

Please ensure that you are informing a member of staff of any injury your child sustains outside of school.
Our staff are well trained in Child Protection procedures and will query an injury on a child. It helps us to know about existing injuries so that we are aware of the circumstances. Thank you

School Collections
A reminder that pupils in Foundation Phase and Year 3 are only allowed to be collected by an adult or someone over the age of 16. For safeguarding reasons, we cannot release a child to anyone under the age of 16. Pupils in Years 4 – 6 are only allowed to walk home if written permssion has been received.

Attendance Matters

The United Nation Article 28 states ‘every child has the right to have a primary education’. We are linking our attendance performance to this article.
We want our children to have the best possible education to give them the best chance in life. If your children aren’t in school we can’t give them this opportunity and can’t give them the opportunity to ‘be the best they can be.’
