Harvest Festival
We are going to be hosting our annual Harvest Festival on Monday, 9th October. Please could children bring any donations of food into school by this date. The current urgent requests from the food bank are: UHT milk, pasta sauce, soup, tinned meat/fish, tinned fruit/veg, tea and coffee. Any non-perishable items will be most welcome. Thank you in advance for your support.

School Uniform
Thank you to everyone who has been supporting our school uniform and PE kit standards. It has made a huge difference and the children look very smart.
Unfortunately, we are still having some children who are wearing shoes/ trainers for uniform and PE of varying colours. Children should only wear black shoes/ trainers, this includes for PE. Children should also only wear their school jumper as part of their PE kit.
Thank you for your support

Attendance Matters

The United Nation Article 28 states ‘every child has the right to have a primary education’. We are linking our attendance performance to this article.
We want our children to have the best possible education to give them the best chance in life. If your children aren’t in school we can’t give them this opportunity and can’t give them the opportunity to ‘be the best they can be.’

Online Safety – Gaming Ground Rules
Almost half (46%) of 8- to 11-year-olds in the UK play online video games with people that they don’t necessarily know. While 55% of parents of young gamers worry that their child might be pressured into making expensive ingame purchases . Most children find gaming immensely enjoyable, but its volume of potential risks – and capacity to influence behaviour – often make it problematic for parents. Please click here for a free guide on some sensible ground rules for promoting safer, healthier gaming habits.
