Uniform
It has been noted that standards of children’s uniform are starting to slip as we come closer to the end of the year. Children are still required to wear full school uniform, including black shoes, unless it is their PE day.
(We understand that parents of Year 6 pupils do not want to buy new uniform this close to the end of their Primary School journey so please ask us if you would like to borrow uniform for the remaining few weeks)
Uniform expectations can be found here

Update to PE Kit from September 2023
From September 2023 we will be updating our PE uniform expectations.
This was a wonderful idea generated by our school council children.
From September, children should come to school wearing a plain (unbranded) tshirt in their house colours, with black bottoms (shorts/leggings/joggers) and black trainers.
The house colours are the colours the children are in for their sports days. If you are unsure of what house your child is in, please ask their class teacher who will be happy to help.
Please click here for a link where suitably priced plain t-shirts can be bought.

Money
Any money that is sent into school needs to be in a labelled envelope.
Money will only be accepted into school in a labelled envelope, stating child’s name and what the money is for. This includes money that is brought directly to the office by parents or dropped at the school gate. Thank you.

Parent Governor
Applications for a new parent governor position have been sent out this week with the children and on Dojo. The deadline for applications is Wednesday, 19th July.
If you are interested in the position and would like to know more, please contact Mrs Wangiel or have a chat to her on the gate.

INSET Day Reminder
A reminder that we have an INSET day next Friday – Friday, 7th July.
School will be closed to pupils on this date

Attendance Matters

The United Nation Article 28 states ‘every child has the right to have a primary education’. We are linking our attendance performance to this article.
We want our children to have the best possible education to give them the best chance in life. If your children aren’t in school we can’t give them this opportunity and can’t give them the opportunity to ‘be the best they can be.’
