100 Years – Royal British Legion
For 100 years the Royal British Legion has been a symbol of hope for the Armed Forces community. This Saturday, 15th May is the 100th anniversary of the Royal British Legion. The school memorial garden will be open from 9am – 3pm for anyone who wishes to pay their respects.
Free School Meal Deliveries
Free School Meals deliveries during half term will take place from 24th May 2021 to all free school meal children in readiness for the Whitsun half term break. The Council also offer a collection service if delivery is not suitable, to arrange this please email catering@caerphilly.gov.uk or call 01443 864055.
Mathletics Challenge
Challenge for y2-6!
Which class can get the most Mathletics certificates before half term? There will be a class prize for the winners. Just 1000 points a week needed for a certificate!

Parents Evenings
Parent consultations will be held from Monday, 24th to Wednesday, 26th May and will be held via telephone. Your child’s teacher will contact you with an appointment via Dojo. Please make every effort to attend to support your child’s learning. If your allocated appointment is unsuitable, please contact your child’s teacher to rearrange
Fidget Toys- School
We are still seeing children bringing in toys and fidget items from home. These items are not to be brought into school, especially under current covid restrictions. Please ensure all toys and fidget items are kept at home.
Easy Fundraising

Online Safety
Many of our children are using the Snap Chat app and are experiencing issues. No children under the age of 12 should be using Snap Chat. The guide at the link below gives you some information about what Snap Chat is and the dangers associated with it.
