School Photographs

On Tuesday of next week (25th May), Colorfoto will be in to take the children’s school photographs. This will be carried out safely under a covid-19 risk assessment. Please ensure all children are wearing school uniform. Siblings within school will be able to have their photographs together but unfortunately, due to covid-19 restrictions, we will be unable to accommodate photographs with siblings who are not within our school.

Free School Meal Deliveries

Free School Meals deliveries during half term will take place from 24th May 2021 to all free school meal children in readiness for the Whitsun half term break. The Council also offer a collection service if delivery is not suitable, to arrange this please email catering@caerphilly.gov.uk or call 01443 864055.

Parents Evenings

Parent consultations are due to be held from Monday, 24th to Wednesday, 26th May and will be held via telephone. You should have now received an appointment from your child’s teacher. Please make every effort to attend to support your child’s learning. If your allocated appointment is unsuitable, please contact your child’s teacher to rearrange.

PDG Access Grant

Before the Easter holidays, application forms for the Welsh Government PDG Access grant were sent out to families who were eligible. The deadline isn’t until the 30th of June but it is advisable for the forms to be returned to school as soon as possible.

Absence Messages

All absence messages must be phoned through to the office. Dojo messages are often missed and this results in absences not being recorded correctly.

Online Safety

The internet can be a very useful tool for so many things – research, music, shopping, videos… the list goes on! There are many ways in which the children can be taught to use the internet safely. Please see the link below for some information and tips on how to set up internet usage safely:
