FSM (Free School Meal) Updates
Summer Holidays FSM Payments
Please click here to access a letter from Caerphilly Council regarding Free School Payments for the summer holidays.
Universal Free School Meals
From September 1st, all Primary School Children from Reception to Year 6 will be entitled to Free School Meals.
You do not need to do anything for your child to be eligible.
You can keep the UPAY app on your phone if you wish as this is also used by Comprehensive Schools in the Borough and your child’s account will stay active.
If there is any debt on your child’s account, it will need to be cleared ASAP. Debt will remain on their account until cleared. If your child is in Year 6, this debt will still be there when they start Comprehensive school.
If you think you are eligible for Entitled Free School Meals, please continue to apply through Caerphilly Council’s website as you may also be entitled to apply for a School Essential Grant. Please click here to find out more

We want our children to have the best possible education to give them the best chance in life. If your children aren’t in school we can’t give them this opportunity and can’t give them the opportunity to ‘be the best they can be.’
