School Uniform – Names
As we approach the end of the half term, our lost property is full of jumpers and coats with no names on!
If your child is missing any jumpers or coats, please pop into the office and ask if you can check in lost property.
Can you please, please, please put your child’s name on their jumper, coat and other uniform items – it really helps us to return the items back to their owners.
Thank you in advance
School Summer Festival – Glerwendeg!
A reminder that we are holding Derwendeg’s version of Glastonbury – Glerwendeg
-on the 4th of July between 2pm and 6pm. As a result, school will finish at 1:45pm for all pupils on this date.
The children should be collected in the usual way from their classroom door at 1:45pm and then they can be taken to the festival.
All classes will be performing at the festival between 2pm and 3pm. Your child’s performance time will be shared with you closer to the date. There will also be lots of other fun activities and music to enjoy!
Keep your eyes peeled on Dojo for more information!
School Dinners
Please see link to order school dinners for your child for next week, Mon 20th May.
Please look at the form carefully and choose which dinner option for each day your child would like to order. Your child does not need to have a school dinner every day. Please fill out the form even if your child brings sandwiches from home everyday.
You will need to order your child’s dinners by Friday. Ordered meals will be passed to the school kitchen every Monday morning.
Next week (20th May) we are on Week 2 menu.

Attendance Matters
The United Nation Article 28 states ‘every child has the right to have a primary education’. We are linking our attendance performance to this article.
We want our children to have the best possible education to give them the best chance in life. If your children aren’t in school we can’t give them this opportunity and can’t give them the opportunity to ‘be the best they can be.’

Inappropriate Content
Keeping our childen safe online is just as important as keeping them safe in the real world. There is so much inppropriate content online, it is our duty to protect the children from it and monitor their internet usage very carefully.
Please click here to access a guide with some useful tips about how to protect your children from accessing inappropriate content.
Don’t forget – when a child has seen something inappropriate, they can’t unsee it and it could frighten them.
