Car Parking
I am very saddened and angry to say that we are once again receiving reports of disrespectful and dangerous parking when dropping off and collecting the children from school. It is unacceptable to block our neighbours’ drives when parking outside of the school. It is also illegal to park on the corner of a junction or park blocking a pavement and therefore a pedestrian’s route. We all have the shared responsibility of keeping our children safe. Illegal parking puts our children  and community in direct danger.

This matter has been reported to the Local Authority and also to the Police. Any vehicles seen parking illegally or blocking a drive will be individually reported to the Police. There will also be Civil Enforcement Officers (CEO) outside of the school at various times. A CEO observing a vehicle parking in contravention of the parking restrictions have the power and authority to issue a fine.

If you must bring a vehicle to school, we politely ask you to be considerate when parking, ensuring you are not parking illegally or blocking drives. Please walk your children to and from school. Not only will this make our school a safer area but will also ensure the children are getting fresh air and exercise before and after school.

Please share this with Grandparents and other relatives who may be dropping off and collecting the children. Thank you for your cooperation.

Attendance Matters

The United Nation Article 28 states ‘every child has the right to have a primary education’. We are linking our attendance performance to this article.
We want our children to have the best possible education to give them the best chance in life. If your children aren’t in school we can’t give them this opportunity and can’t give them the opportunity to ‘be the best they can be.’

Online Safety – Horror Games
Please click here to see the attached online safety guide about horror games. Please be careful to monitor what games your child is playing online or on the computer.
These games are often very scary and violent and cause disrupted sleep or behaviour.
